Holly Meowy - Bio
Holly Meowy was born in Hollywood and named after the famous sign. Ever since childhood she’s had a tremendous love and passion for all animals, and especially cats. Purrrhaps it started when her mother let her Cat purrr on her stomach while Holly was still in the womb. Whatever the reason, throughout all of her work as an actress, model, and wrestling manager, her affection for these beautiful creatures has been a driving force in her 9lives. Holly’s relentless catpassion has made her a Cat Saviour, animal rights activist, prrrotecter & voice for the voiceless.
For years Holly has rescued, trapped and fostered cats on her own. This first hand experience has made her an expert on multiple aspects of rescue including how to humanely trap feral cats, nurture & bottle feed new kittens, care for fosters, recognize diseases, and many other vital facets.
Her vision is to expand this effort to reach as many cats and people as possible. Motivated by loving devotion to the kitties, Holly has shaped part of this dream into reality by creating her official 501 non-profit “The Kitty Cat Club” (aka The Cat Club) in Los Angeles, CA.
As Founder and CEO of The Cat Club, Holly has forged close relationships with organizations like Fixnation. Fixnation’s state of the art facility for spay and neuter has allowed The Cat Club to expand its rescue efforts to save more cats than ever before. The Cat Club’s goal is to run its very own no kill cat shelter, thus enabling the non-profit to handle a higher volume of cats.
To aid in this effort The Cat Club throws cat style adoption & fundraising events. With the grassroots support of her friends who donate their free time to volunteer, Holly is well on her way to achieving this goal. In fact, the independent fundraising Indie Go Go campaign The Cat Club ran has paid for a mobile adoption Van that's on it way to completion. Inspired by some of these successes, Holly is always thinking of new and creative ways to prrromote cat rescue.
Holly has also used her visibility and platform (heel) as an actress and wrestling manager on shows such as WOW Woman of Wresling, Lucha Underground, & Two and a Half Men, to purrromote and educate a wider audience about cat rescue. Holly has even rescued kittens & cats from the foundry in downtown Los Angeles where they film Lucha Underground. No matter what job she is working, saving cats is always on her mind. “I gotta work to pay my bills & care for my rescues and still save cats, so I have to do it all at the same time”
In addition to being an actress, Holly holds 2 degrees in the Arts and Theatre. Holly also possesses extensive academic knowledge about a large variety of animals. Her impressive animal expeertise was self taught while managing the fish & reptile department at a pet store.
In Holly Meowy we have an animal lover whose intelligence and know-how is only surrrpassed by her huge heart. She’s putting her own paw print on this planet by her continued efforts to save kitties and assist in TNR, which saves unborn kittens 9lives.
